Brian Baumgardner

Brian grew up working and learning about the tree business from his dad, stepdad, and other family members at a young age. The industry grew on him and when he was only 17, he bought his first set of climbing gear. He started building on his own off his knowledge from what he has seen, what other colleagues have told him, and his dad teaching him the most important aspect "the climbing knot". He went from borrowing tools and working for other companies, to having his own successful business. He has decided to build his own path for the business and try to build a respectable reputation with proper client education.  
 
For 3 years, Brian moved to the Hampton Roads area and started working fulltime for a large known company, Great Scott Tree Service. In just a short amount of time, he went from just an everyday climber to head climber of the company. During this time, he was learning all aspects of climbing, bucket work, and rigging techniques. All of this experience had progressed his skills of climbing, rigging, use of knots and equipment making him comfortably take on any tree and any problem with confidence. While working fulltime for Great Scott, he still found time to grow Baumgardner's Tree Care and he was able to acquire all the necessary tools, knowledge and equipment.

He has since moved back to Northern Virginia to settle down with his wife and family to finally focus on his own business fulltime. He strives to continue working towards his goal to grow and have a fluent, thriving, successful and honest tree care business.
